Our highly experienced in-house team bring an enviable skillset, minimising the need to sub-contract to get the job done. When we do look to external resources, our network of trades is diverse, highly skilled and a true extension of our team.

Three expert teams, under one roof

At Stemcon, we’re not like other construction businesses. We don’t rely on third parties to do our job, instead our in-house teams bring unmatched efficiency to our builds.

When you visit our headquarters, you’ll experience first-hand the artisan touch we bring to each project. With Stemcon, our hands-on approach, with our own staff touching almost all aspects of a build, is designed to make sure your project stays on track.

Precast

Our precast concrete team deliver off-site manufacturing of bespoke and structural elements, avoiding the reliance on offshore suppliers. The result? We have full control of the impact precast has on our construction program.

Joinery

Our highly experienced interior fit-out division deliver project detailing and manufacturing – our skilled cabinet makers can build just about anything. And because they’re under our roof, we can ensure superior quality, as well as reliability and efficiencies in our workflow.

Electrical

Our electrical division comprises a team skilled in state of the art technology – from general electrical to security and smart home networking. They bring transparency, confidence and flexibility to the project process.

    Steve is the director of Stemcon, which was established in 2008. He leads a team of industry professionals who strive for a culture of excellence, self assessment and continuous improvement in all aspects of business. With strengths in property development and dealing with complex projects over the past 25 years, Steve believes in the philosophy that satisfied clients and return business are the best form of promotion.

    Steve has a Bachelor of Engineering, Post Graduate Diploma in Construction Management and Project Management and recently completed an Advanced Diploma in Building Design (Architectural).

    Emmanuel, a co-founder of Stemcon, brings all manner of control to the business and has a strong focus on improvement in administrative business processes, regulatory compliance, contract management, quality assurance, occupational health and safety, as well as environmental and risk management.

    His extensive experience, working with Australian and multinational organisations in operations management, has afforded him strong command and influence in this part of the business.

    Con, the third co-founder of Stemcon, brings extensive management and business skills to the team, garnered from successfully directing a large-scale electrical contractor for over 30 years. During this time he has developed strong business relationships throughout the industry, particularly on a contractor level. His strengths extend to technical problem solving, industrial relations, human resources, contractor relations, plant management and logistics.

  • Tom Nguyen

    Financial Controller

    Tom is an integral member of the team, having worked at Stemcon for approaching a decade. As Financial Controller, his key responsibilities are in the area of strategic financial allocation. Tom is in control of multi-million dollar budgets. Financial planning, controlling and reporting are his monthly focus across each project, ensuring Stemcon’s commitments, both to our subcontractors and clients, are met.

    Tom has completed a Master of Finance and a Master of Accounting, with studies at both Monash University and Melbourne University. Tom enjoyed diverse industry experience before joining Stemcon.

  • Bill Haralambakis

    Construction Manager

    Bill heads up the Stemcon Construction team, with over 28 years of experience in the industry, cutting his teeth early in his career as a site engineer for tier 1 sub-contractors, before moving across to work with multi-national builders. Bill’s attention to detail is vital to the planning, control, execution and delivery of our complex multi-million dollar construction projects.

    Having worked in senior positions with Multiplex on 13 major inner-city projects in the early 2000s, and then as Construction Manager at Wycombe Constructions, developing the Deakin University campuses at Burwood and Waurn Ponds in Geelong, Bill honed his skills across all facets of construction, both technical and managerial. Additionally, Bill has over 15 years of combined experience in delivering government school construction within the BER funding framework, and over 8 years of domestic multi-level construction projects with Stemcon.
